Carpet & Curtains Sales Assistant

We are looking for a sales assistant to work within our carpet and curtain departments at our superstore in Diss.

The successful applicant will help customers identify and purchase relevant products that they desire as well as help with day-to-day tasks around the store such as pricing and updating shop displays where necessary.


Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Ascertain customers’ wants and needs
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Keep up-to-date with product information

What we are looking for:
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Hours:

Experienced Curtain Maker

We are looking for an experienced curtain maker/ sewing machinist to work within the rapidly expanding soft furnishing side of our business.

The successful applicant will able to cope with a fast pace and is comfortable being part of a small and growing team - Working in a newly formed on-site workshop with new equipment.


Responsibilities:
- To create curtains & blinds to a consistently high standard
- To meet customer demands & deadlines

Experienced wood flooring fitter [And general carpentry]

Successful applicant will be required to carry out all aspects of fitting wood flooring, laminate flooring, ply-boarding & carry out general floor repairs. As well as consistent general carpentry work relevant to the flooring trade.

Van provided along with any tools necessary + any extra training if needed.


Responsibilities:
- To lay wood flooring to the highest standards on a consistent basis
- Carry out all aspects of carpentry & repair work relevant to the flooring trade
- Be respectful & security conscious at all times on customer & company property
- Safely & carefully clear furniture from customers rooms when necessary
- To load your van with the correct flooring supplies
- Consistently provide the highest level of service to all customers

We are looking for a warehouse & delivery assistant to work in our fast-growing family run carpet & furniture superstore in Diss. With customer service at the heart of our business, you will take pride in delivering a top rate service to all customers. Day-to-day tasks will include lifting & moving furniture around warehouse.


Responsibilities:
- To be respectful & security conscious in terms of company & customer property
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Re-arrange furniture and displays around the store
- Deliver goods to customers
- To consistently provide the highest level of service to all customers, visitors & suppliers
- Keep paperwork up-to-date
- Assemble and dismantle furniture
- Keep the warehouse safe & tidy
