We always rated John Doe as a first class retail outlet. Staff are friendly, professional and understand what customer service means. They act as advisers rather than sales staff. I value Stewart's comments on the range of beds and trust his judgement. His thoughts were echoed by Which reports and Telegraph mattress reviews. As a result we now have a Somnus Marquis Superking 14000-with classic style headboard, topper and bolster. The amazing thing is, we moved to Wales and John Doe agreed to deliver free of charge. Administration handled perfectly, delivery headed by M.D.- Charles, was faultless. (The van left at 3am and was here by 8am). Top marks for all aspects of the purchase.(NB. the bed lives up to its reputation!) We will be back.

I am writing to thank your company in general and a number of staff in particular for the tremendous service we have received during our traumatic move. From the first minute we entered your showroom, we were greeted by the most pleasant and friendly young ladies before meeting David who was most professional and extremely helpful so that we were able to select suitable carpets for 3 rooms in our house. The carpet arrived within 2 days of you confirming our order and your carpet fitters have just completed fitting all the rooms. The men worked so very hard and did so with a smile and moved furniture around quite beyond the call of duty. I cannot praise their work highly enough and would appreciate it if you would pass on our official thanks to them. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company in the future and we too will certainly be regular customers.

My husband and myself would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to ALL of your STAFF. We recently purchased wooden flooring and Stressless furniture for our house in Stradbroke. What we found was that your staff were all extremely knowledgeable about the items we liked, and in fact knowledgeable about everything in your store. What is more, all your staff members were polite and nothing was too much of a problem. Even the staff who delivered the items were very polite, careful and an excellent advert for your company. The chap who laid the flooring, was extremely knowledgeable about how to lay the flooring, was very neat and tidy and left no mess. In fact, everything went completely smoothly. It was a great pleasure to have purchased our furniture and flooring from John Doe. Please pass on our thanks to all your staff, they were all wonderful.

 

New carpets and new furniture all in place and we are so pleased with the result and once again the service we received from all departments was top class. The two carpet fitters were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them as were the furniture movers. Impeccable service from start to finish. Many thanks.
