We always rated John Doe as a first class retail outlet. Staff are friendly, professional and understand what customer service means. They act as advisers rather than sales staff. I value Stewart's comments on the range of beds and trust his judgement. His thoughts were echoed by Which reports and Telegraph mattress reviews. As a result we now have a Somnus Marquis Superking 14000-with classic style headboard, topper and bolster. The amazing thing is, we moved to Wales and John Doe agreed to deliver free of charge. Administration handled perfectly, delivery headed by M.D.- Charles, was faultless. (The van left at 3am and was here by 8am). Top marks for all aspects of the purchase.(NB. the bed lives up to its reputation!) We will be back.

I came in to your showroom today to look at your carpets. Having been in before and to date being assisted by three or four different members of your staff, I just felt I had to contact you to say that your customer service is the best I have ever experienced. What a pleasure it has been for us to shop at 'Doe's'. Since moving to the area last year, it has been a delight to purchase from your store. Having met Edward on our recent visit, we must compliment the service we have received yet again; from the top man all the way through to the delivery! Your staff are all polite, helpful and friendly. Our close dealings with Graham and Lindsey have been superb; they always go the extra mile so we have always been so happy and satisfied. No 'hard sell' which gives us great pleasure in returning to spend! We really must compliment the young lad who 'delivers' - again, polite, helpful, friendly and delivers on all counts - respectful and someone who is a pleasure to have delivering to your home.
