We always rated John Doe as a first class retail outlet. Staff are friendly, professional and understand what customer service means. They act as advisers rather than sales staff. I value Stewart's comments on the range of beds and trust his judgement. His thoughts were echoed by Which reports and Telegraph mattress reviews. As a result we now have a Somnus Marquis Superking 14000-with classic style headboard, topper and bolster. The amazing thing is, we moved to Wales and John Doe agreed to deliver free of charge. Administration handled perfectly, delivery headed by M.D.- Charles, was faultless. (The van left at 3am and was here by 8am). Top marks for all aspects of the purchase.(NB. the bed lives up to its reputation!) We will be back.

I am aware that most people write to complain these days but few consider saying thank you for a job well done. Well I felt I should write to say how happy I was with the service I received from Jon and Stuart who came to fit my carpet. It was a pleasure to have them in my home and they did a very professional job, quietly and with no fuss. They were extremely helpful in getting my furniture back in place and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring their services in carpet fitting. So my thanks to them and to you. It is good to know that there are still really professional people around.

Dear Mr Doe, we recently decided to replace one of our carpets and visited your premises in Diss. We met with Lindsay and discussed our requirements. We were incredibly impressed with her very helpful response. Her suggestions on quality and colours were excellent. A very pleasant experience to deal with such a knowledgeable lady who was clearly intent on making sure we were happy with our purchase. Lindsay also arranged for the carpet to be fitted and for a further existing carpet to be re-laid in our house in a very efficient manner with no fuss. The work was undertaken yesterday and again the two carpet fitters were excellent. We are very pleased and will certainly return to John Doe of Diss for our future carpet/furniture requirements.
